Tales in the Attic

A week of spellbinding storytelling hosted by Open Attic Company with Family Friendly stories by day and Not So Family Friendly stories by night.

Climb into the Attic and prepare to be taken anywhere.

Open Attic Company have gathered an amazing team of storytellers, performers and musicians to host a series of brand new stories to excite and entice you. Stories to take you to another world, the far future, the distant past or to last week when Deborah missed the bus. Come with us on these journeys and who knows where we’ll end up?

A whole range of tales will be shared. The day time Family Friendly stories will be fun, exciting and suitable for everyone while the evening Not So Family Friendly tales may feature darker content, aimed at an older audience.

Featuring: Adam Blake (Much Ado About Puffin, Birth Death Here Now and Beyond The Ridiculous), Adam Fuller (Tales with Grandad, director of Goldilock, Stock & Three Smoking Bears), Steph Kempson (Sharp Teeth, The Fox & The Child) and some very special guests.

They’ve worked with Holly Stoppit (director and facilitator for Beyond The Ridiculous), Wilf Merttens (Winner of National Storyteller of the year 2009) and Sarah Moody (composer and musician for Much Ado About Puffin and The Devils Violin) to help shape and create a unique and wonderful set of tales you won’t want to miss!

Family Friendly: Aimed at ages 3-8 but suitable for all ages.
Not So Family Friendly: Suitable for ages 12+
